This year, I shall do the following.
And you shall not stop me, for I am legend.
Also, because I want to do them, so yeah.
Let the list begin.
I shall see no fewer than 10 bands play live.
I shall successfully learn to do a standing backsault.
I shall learn to organise everything better.
I shall clean my room once. Maybe twice. :P
I shall read books more.
I shall study more.
I shall finally pay my phone bill.
I shall also stop going over my download limit.
I shall give a present to every neighbour, as thanks to the one who provides my internet.
I shall at least attempt to write a song.
I shall not refrain from doing what needs doing.
I shall write a book! Actually, I won't.
I shall try to learn how to sing and play guitar at the same time.
I shall improve my drumming and bass skills.
I shall live through December, because the world shall not end.
I shall find a church, and regularly attend said church.
I shall do the chicken dance at least 5 times.
And finally...
I shall enjoy this year.
So.
Bit of a list.
It's more of an "I'll try to do these, because I feel I need to" list.
But hopefully it helps.
But yeah.
Happy New Year to the multitudes reading this.
Purely because my love for Banana Milk is just that big...
Also, I like writing heaps of stuff

The final ending, and a new beginning...
To be honest, the whole "it's a new year, it's a new start" thing has confused me. Just because it's a new year, doesn't mean anything has really changed. It's not like your life is restarting. Although, I can kind of understand it.
People see the new year as a chance to move on from what the previous year gave to them. I just use it as a chance to reflect on what's changed in my life, and what hasn't.
This year, my life changed a lot. I moved to Frankston. I had to survive by myself. I started at uni. I took up many extra responsibilities with youth stuff. Did I succeed? Who knows. I did in some aspects, I didn't in others.
All I know, is that I'm probably going to actually set some form of resolutions this year, and will try to fulfill them. Hopefully.
It'd be nice if I could.

Refreshed...
Ever get that feeling that you have to do something.
Something that you wouldn't normally do.
Something that just seems weird, outlandish.
Could be big, could be small.
I just know that it happened to me recently.
And I can tell you, when I did it, it felt amazing.
Occasionally we'll just feel dry, like nothing is working.
Everything we try to do just doesn't help at all.
Then, out of nowhere, you get that small nudge.
That tap on the shoulder.
Then that small suggestion...
"you should do this, it'll work a treat"
And, of course, it works.
Every. Single. Time.
God is just that amazing.

Because ice-cream is just amazing...
I just ran out of apple juice.
Now I am sad.
So very sad.
Well, actually I'm not.
But hey, at least I have ice-cream!
Today... I had a meeting.
A good, fun, kind of scary meeting.
It was in regards to the program for camp this summer.
Impact, it's gonna ROCK people!
Still... it was scary, because it made me realise something.
A lot of what is happening this camp rides on me being in charge.
It rides on me organising stuff.
Not just running stuff, but being the behind the scene person.
Making sure all the items that are needed are provided.
It's kind of a big step...
One that I think I'm ready for... but it's still scary to think about.
I mean, programming can't be that hard, right?
It'll all come together though :)
I mean, it's camp.
It always works ^.^
My ice-cream melted :(

It IS just that amazing...
I've been thinking a lot about it today.
It's been quite prevalent today.
So, why not blog about it?
Music.
Music.
It moves us. It changes how we feel.
It inspires us. It challenges us.
It's an integral part of the lives of many.
And it's ridiculously hard to explain.
Today, I played my new bass for the first time.
Today, I played my new bass for the first time.
I pulled out my guitar as well, and mucked around on that.
I heard numerous new songs and artists today.
I spoke about it to numerous friends.
Yet, I didn't even begin to scratch the surface on what music really is.
Something that has been on the edge of my mind lots recently is songwriting.
Something that has been on the edge of my mind lots recently is songwriting.
I spoke about it to friends today, and I've frequently thought about it.
I have this belief that I can't write songs.
To be honest, I've never really tried.
I've always had the "I wouldn't be good at it" or the "I wouldn't know what to write about" excuse.
And even now, laying here, I wouldn't have a clue what to write a song about.
But now I want to try it.
I want to see what it's like to piece together lyrics.
To attach them to some chords, or a riff.
To see how they go together.
And if it fits together well, I want to be able to play it.
Not necessarily show it to other people.
But to sit down, by myself, and just play my song.
That I made.
I imagine it would be among the best feelings in the world.
I also imagine it would be an extremely personal thing to do.
Writing a song, especially if it's about yourself.
Or your life.
I have so much respect for those who write it.
Even more for those who share it.
Music...
So hard to explain.
So easy to love.
So inspirational...

I like rainbows...
They look good.
I always wanted to try to find gold at the bottom of a rainbow.
There was a time where it was the most important thing in my life.
To reach the end of that rainbow...
...I always envisioned it as being an amazing event.
Rainbows (obviously), sparkly skies, a sunny backdrop.
For some reason, a pony just came to mind.
Although, I'd rather there not be one there.
And then there's the pot of gold. With a leprechaun or two, because they're cool.
Just dancing around the gold.
If I found that as a kid, my world would've been turned upside down.
It would have been amazing.
I've always wanted the supernatural world to exist.
(Note, I mean like, magic and shiz, not the God side of supernatural, because I know that exists)
But yeah, magic and stuff would be so cool.
Like, really cool.
And all the amazingly sweet creatures that'd come with such a world.
It'd be all sweet and peachy.
I love rainbows. :D
It's kinda stupid...
When I woke up today, I was not allowed to supervise anyone at a pool as a lifeguard.
When I go to sleep tonight, I will be allowed to lifeguard pools.
Yet, I feel like I know nothing more now than I did then.
The only thing that's different is that I did this 2 hour session at a pool.
And now I'm apparently allowed to lifeguard shiz.
Makes no sense.
Which makes me wonder how many people there are out there, who are 'qualified' to do stuff, but if a situation actually arose, they wouldn't have a clue what on earth to do.
Like, now, I could stand and watch a pool full of people, and legally ensure they're safe.
But if anything happened, I'd be all like "what do I dooooooo?" and everyone would die.
Kinda scary.
Therefore, I'm gonna eat some oranges, and it'll all be k.
That is all :)

Because WEDGIE!...
Yes.
That's right.
I just gave you a MASSIVE wedgie.
Like, truly HUGE! The hugest wedgie you've ever received.
Not really. I'm just kidding.
I didn't give you a wedgie. That would be mean.
And I'm an exceptionally nice person.
However, this text appears to be smaller than usual.
Shall we do something about it?
I think so..
...

*does something amazing and magical*
HERE WE ARE!
Is this better? Actually...
It's way too big.
I'll change it again. Just wait.
...
...
There. It's better than before.
Much more readable.
Now... for the main point of this post.
I actually don't think there's a point to this.
I actually wanted to write a poem of some sort.
Except I had no inspiration, and no poem writing ability.
So that ended well.
I should write a story!
Yes :D I'll do that.
Actually... I have one I can post here already.
I'ma do that.
BYE!

And then I end up back here...
This blog is heaps more fun than when I originally decided to do it. Which makes me just continue to post random stuff, because I can.
Also, I've had this massive urge to have a D&M with someone tonight, but haven't, so I guess posting stuff here eases that slightly.
I love posting stuff past midnight. It's good. Pointless, but good.
Anyway, I just found something that I wrote in September, which I was going to chuck on Facebook, but didn't. It's from back when I had Uni assignments covering everything. It just makes me think about how much can change in such a short space of time. I remember certain things that were going on back in September. Now it's December, and a lot of what I wrote then is irrelevant. It makes me think about what we'd do if we knew what was going to happen if we continued with our usual habits, and ways of doing things. Would we change what we do, or would we continue to act the same as usual? I know, looking back, I would've done heaps differently this year, especially in the last few months. It's been an interesting, and scary time, but one that has caused some growth in me as a person. I appreciate that, but with it it's brought a lot of pain and stress, which sucked. Am I truly happy now? Who knows. I certainly don't. I'm definitely in a weird place right now, and I hope that it gets fixed soon. Honestly, I don't even know what I'm writing about right now. Therefore...
I feel weird. Stuff changes. I like some of it, don't like other parts.
Camps will be good. I want them now :)
Christmas is coming. That's always great.
I NEED a church. Or at least a consistent christian community. I've lacked it for too long now, and constantly visiting places just isn't good for me. I need a home church.
Aaaaaaand... I want a Ukulele.
Life is weird.

I actually am a pineapple...
I dunno. I'm posting this for 3 reasons I think.
1. I'm bored.
2. I seem to have this massive urge to reveal the inner workings of my mind, but don't at the same time.
3. It was the most appropriate place to reveal that I'm listening to the Across The Universe soundtrack at the moment.
So, let's do this.
Firstly, if you haven't seen Across The Universe, please do. It's actually amazing.
Secondly, I just sneezed.
Thirdly... pineapples.
Seriously though, pineapples are AMAZING! Nearly as good as bananas. Nowhere near as good as Banana Milk though. That stuff is the BEST! The very best. Even better than tacos, and they're good.
Ok. Point of this post.
Parents.
Who has them? I assume you would, whether they be around or not, you do have them.
However, mine are amazing. Like, really amazing.
Like, so amazing that I, like, have to, like, use the word like excessively. Like.
But yeah. Tonight, I was at my dads dinner thingo for work, and just hanging out with Mum and Dad again was heaps awesome. Me and Dad compete in everything, and it's always fun, whether I win or he wins, it's great. And then there's Mum, who's always caring (sometimes to the point of great annoyance), and always laughs at just about everything.
I love them.
Lots.
So much.
And I appreciate them so much too.
Not sure if they know this, but I do.
So I decided to tell the blogging world that I do.
Therefore, enjoy.
Before I leave... I am the walrus.
The end.
Goodbye.
See you later.
And stuff :D

Thrive...
It's rare, if ever, that I find a song that pretty much describes how I feel at that current point in time.
I actually can't remember the last time that happened, but I do know that it's pretty powerful when it does happen to me.
And it makes me think. Lots.
However, recently, I've been listening to Thrive (by Switchfoot) heaps, and I relate to it so much.
"I want to thrive, not just survive"
Every lyric in that song I feels describes how I am right now, and how I feel.
I feel as if I have no direction. Trust me to get to the end of my first year at Uni then completely question whether or not I'm meant to be there.
I'm just not sure anymore. I've been sure about what I want to do since year 8. I've always been certain of where I was going to end up.
Until I started doing it.
How typical of me.
I was thinking about all that in the car before, while driving, and just thinking about where I'd want to end up in life if I didn't become a teacher.
The results of that soul searching are kind of scary... and surprising.
It ended in becoming a Youth Pastor of some sort, which isn't really that shocking. I mean, have a look at how much youth I'm involved in.
Then it changed into becoming a missionary. THAT shocked me.
Never before have I really been keen to go on a missions trip before.
I mean, I've always been interested in what happens, but I've never been like "hey, this seems like a great idea. I'm going to do it!"
But now... the idea has been going around in my head non-stop since I first thought of it.
How great it could be, to go and help people.
People in need.
People who appreciate anything they can get.
I actually think I might look into doing one.
Which is scary, but cool.
It's something new.
And it's something which might make me thrive, and not just survive.

Yes..
WE SHOULD ALL GO MAKE TACOS BECAUSE THEY ARE AMAZING AND TASTE SOOOOO GOOD!
Honestly they are the best. So... what's the point of this post? I don't know. I'm just writing because I can :D
I like this blogging thing. It's fun. I can write stuff, and post it, and all is swell and happy.
Reminds me or that time I fought of a bee with a nerf gun. That was fun.
I like nerf guns. You can shoot people with them.
And the best part?
If you hit them, THEY DON'T DIE! They live, because nerf darts are foam, and not actual bullets.
So you can pretend to shoot your friends, BUT YOU WON'T!
How amazing is that!?
It makes for fun times. With friends. Pretending to run around and kill each other...
Sounds bad.
BUT IT'S FUN!
I have a sore thumb. And knee. And wrist. And other knee. It makes typing hard.
Very hard.
Extremely hard.
BUT! I'm working through the pain, purely to provide you all with this page of nothingness.
Utter nonsense.
I want to listen to good music.
I KNOW!
I downloaded the Across The Universe soundtrack the other day.
I'LL LISTEN TO THAT!
If you haven't seen the movie. Watch it.
It's amazing.
That, and Love Me, If You Dare.
Watch both of them.
That is all.
From me, Slushie.

Waiting...
So, I was going to write some sort of poemy thing here.
But I lack inspiration, or more motivation, to do it right now.
Which sucks, because I'd love to.
Have no clue how to start it though, which screws that plan over.
So, I'm just going to say that I'm waiting for the day you come along.
And I hope that day is soon, because I'd love to meet you.
So much.

What's a 'Facebook'..?
Computer games. They're fun. They're enjoyable. They make amazing time killers when your main tool of procrastination is gone. That, and this blog writing thing which I've spammed so much over the past week. It's under 24 hours until I can Facebook again, and to be honest, I'm not missing it that much anymore. Sure, I'd like to be able to check stuff and see what's going on, but I can live without it. Although, it could be because I've been with friends non-stop over the last week, and I've always had something else to do. Still, the discovery that I'm all good without that silly social networking site is quite a good one for me. That being said, this time tomorrow I'll probably be posting non-stop, and catching up on what I've missed out on. It's been a weird week. A good one, a fun one, but an interesting one. I think I should do this again at some stage, just detach myself from the world once every now and again, spend more time with those around me. As much as I miss speaking to people who I have no other means of contact with, it's good to go without that contact for a bit. I find myself being more involved in the real world. And, in the long run, it's that world that matters.
Not the Facebook world.
Not the Facebook world.

Apparently you can use your iPhone for this...
It's nearly 5am, and I'm laying in bed, so unable to sleep that I'm posting another blog. And I'm doing it off my iPhone. Like a baws. Makes no sense. Anyway, today was boring. Volleyball was fun, but another day without Facebook was irritating, and I'm still struggling not to go on it. I'm also surprised at the amount of people who I speak to in real life who ask me if I'm surviving no Facebook. Was it really that obvious that I was addicted to it? Was I on it THAT much? I probably was... haha. But yeah, I'm still alive. I'm still functioning. I'm sending more texts than I ever have before. And I've learnt nearly the whole vice verses album, by Switchfoot, on guitar. And I've discovered heaps of new , cool music. It's so good :) I miss talking to everyone though. I like that I've written a huge slab of text on my phone though. Go me! Also, sun.. WHERE ARE YOU!?!?!?

Summer...
It's finally here.
The best time of the year.
The warmth, the sun, clear skies, blue oceans...
Laying back on the beach, sitting out on your board, waiting for that next big wave.
And just being able to lay in the grass, without a care in the world.
Time for the fun times with friends and family.
The best time of the year.
It's finally here.
Because I have crazy hair...
IT'S K GAIZE! I GOTS DIS!
Ok. Now that that's out of the way... I've decided I'm going to record my efforts to go without Facebook here. And there's 2 reasons behind this decision.
1. I feel the need to record them, and this seemed the best place to do it.
2. No social media network is killing me right now, and this provides some relief.
How is it, that someone can be busy for a full day, and still have the need to check a social media site every 2 seconds? I know, they're ridiculously addicted to it. I am constantly amazed at how many things happen in my life that make me automatically want to share it with those online. I also feel amazingly disconnected right now. I used to be able to whip out my phone and have the option of talking to over 700 people (although, in reality I probably only spoke to like, 20), and I used to be able to check on the activities of any single one of those people. Now, I have my sister and my close friends. That's it. No one else, at all, unless they message me. I've found myself looking through past text messages, finding people to speak to. I spend more time playing games on my mobile, instead of going on Facebook on it, and it's showing me just how anti-social I used to be, unless whatever conversation that was happening fully interested me. It's actually really sad. I think this ban may be good for me, as hopefully it'll help me to be more interested in my surroundings, as opposed to what some person writes as their next status. Either way, life is interesting. Also, I have amazing hair right now. It's quite ridiculous. That is all.

Actually, no it's not.

How did it ever happen...?
Nearly 6 hours ago, I got someone to change my Facebook password. I'm spending this week without Facebook, to see what my life is like without it. So, for 6 hours, I've been without it. And I have to say, I've already had some revelations which are slightly sad. In that time, I've been playing netball and have been with people the whole time. Hanging with friends. And I've already managed to lose count of the amount of times I've picked up my phone to check my account. To check for notifications, or inboxes. It's just ridiculous how much I use it! And it's also ridiculous how hard I'm finding it to not go on Facebook! I know that I could easily recover my password and log on, to check everything. I know that I'll be getting spammed by people, because that's just how some of my friends roll. I know that I have heaps of notifications. And all I want to do is check them! It's also crazy just how many ideas I've had for statuses, that I've gone to post then realised I can't. I've already discovered just how much time I was spending on that site... and it's a very sad revelation, one that's very eye-opening for me. I never truly realised just how reliant I was on that one single website. This week is going to be very interesting. I hope I make it.

Music...
It's amazing just what music can do to you. It can alter moods, and can equally reflect exactly how you're feeling. It can act as an avenue for people to express themselves. It can allow people to go crazy, and let loose in ways they would never do otherwise. It's just beautiful.
Personally, I just love how magical it truly is. There's nothing else out there like it. I felt pretty horrible tonight. Don't know why, but I was in a shocking mood. So, I pull out my guitar, and proceed to spend 3 hours playing it. During the last song I played, I was completely in tune with the music. I didn't have a care in the world, and everything felt amazing, just sitting there, strumming on my guitar. And now, I'm writing this, and I feel great. Tired, but great.
It has this ability just to be amazing. No matter how you feel, there's something there to match it. There's always a song that you can just belt out, and feel great afterwards. I love music. It's such a massive part of my life.
It's just amazing.

"Here's to the twilight
here's to the memories
these are my souvenirs
my mental pictures of everything
Here's to the late nights
here's to the firelight
these are my souvenirs
my souvenirs"
So many memories... so many friendships.
Good times in the past, good times to come.
You can't do much without friends.
Who would be there to muck around with you?
Who would be there to laugh with you when you did something stupid?
Who would be there to encourage you to do something?
Who would be there to wipe away the tears?
Friendship means a lot to me.
I treasure my friends so much, because without them I wouldn't be me.
I may tease you.
I may push you.
I may laugh at you.
But that's just me showing that I love you.
And that is what friendship is about.
Being there, through the good and the bad, because you care for each other.
Because you're mates.
You're
Friends.
I don't even...
Ok. Firstly, I'm about 99% sure I haven't written anything here in a good 6 months. Maybe longer. Who knows. Either way, I basically had nothing to write... then I forgot about it... then I couldn't be bothered... and now, with my first year of Uni over and absolutely NOTHING to do with myself until camps come along this summer, I'm sitting here at nearly 2 in the morning with a massive urge to write stuff down. So, I'm going to chuck it here, where my amazing 2 followers can read it (if they read it), and live happily in the knowledge that I've written an essay length blog thingo.
Before I actually begin, I got distracted for a bit, had a look, and my last post was in April, about the Royal Wedding. I rant a lot... haha. Oh, and it also reminded me of some wonderful things that ended so very well. (heavy sarcasm, since keyboards are amazing at showing it). Anyway.. to all you wonderful readers out there, I WILL BEGIN!
I don't even know anymore. Seriously, at the start of this year I was so pumped for everything. Uni! Living away from home! The excitement, the adventure. It's been pretty cool... except it hasn't worked out anywhere near as well as I hoped. Sure, I've survived. Somehow. When I think about it, my physical health is probably nowhere near as good as it should be, thanks to an amazing diet and sleeping habits. Then there's uni... which I struggled with. Greatly. Motivation has been a big issue, and this year has left me wondering whether or not it's actually where I'm meant to be in life at the moment. I'm not sure, and I still haven't been able to figure out exactly where I'm meant to be. I need direction, and I haven't got it. It's very disorienting.
Not that this year has been bad. Quite the opposite. It's been amazing. Made so many AWESOME friends, thanks to camps and other things. Also, my guitar playing has gotten heaps better, probably due to me buying an acoustic, putting heaps more effort into it, and having so much more motivation to actually play it. Now that I think about it, I know where the motivation came from, but I'm going to ignore that and say that it was due to my music tastes developing and changing so much. At the moment, I'm listening to Florence + the Machine. If you told me that a year ago, I would've laughed, and walked off with Parkway Drive blaring in my ears. Not that I still don't like hardcore/metal type stuff, but I've gotten more mellow in my tastes, and I enjoy it. That translates into more acousticy stuff, which means more acoustic guitar playing. I also might be taking up bass... how weird.
Yeah, this is just a heap of nothing. I mean, I would ask for you guys to give me something to write about, but I probably won't get any form of response at all. That being said, if, by some random chance, you're sitting here reading this, you should so suggest something for me to write about. Anything, I don't actually care, I'll write about anything. Just give me something :)
And on that note, I'm going to stop writing. I actually feel quite dissatisfied in finishing now... but I don't know what to put down. So I'll leave it for a few days and come back, and maybe some inspiration will have hit me. Or, by some miracle, there'll be something down below :P haha. Anyway, enjoy life, have fun, and eat lots of cookies :) That is all.

The Royal Wedding...
So.... The Royal Wedding. Who's excited?
I mean, congratulations to them. I'm happy they're happy.
I'm happy they love each other.
I'm happy they're getting married.
Hope they have a great life together.
However... there are numerous things that annoy me about this wedding.
One is the amount of coverage it's gotten.
Cool, they're getting married. Awesome.
I'll continue living life now.
I'm bemused as to how people can care so much about it... I mean, it's their lives.
How about we let them live it?
Probably the main thing that annoys me about it though... is the cost.
80 Million. 80 Million dollars. That's like, 50 times more than I'll earn in my life.
Is that cost really necessary for one single wedding?
It's great they love each other and stuff, but the money could be used so much more beneficially elsewhere.
What about the kids, starving and slaving away in Third World Countries?
What about those people who'll never ever get to live a comfortable life?
Those who don't know what a luxury is. Those who don't know what rest is.
What do they get?
This single 80 Million dollar wedding... the money could be used elsewhere.
It could end poverty in so many places. It could give decent lives to so many.
Those who can't eat regularly, if at all.
Those who are forced into the sex trade to live.
Those who are forced into slavery.
Those who are beaten, whipped, violated... the money could help those people so much.
And yet, it's spent on flowers, and a ridiculously overhyped, overrated one day event.
It makes me sick.

Sometimes, I do things because I feel like it...
This space has been fairly devoid for a while.
The last serious thing I wrote here was forever ago.
It's either because I don't feel like writing too much,
or I forget this exists,
or because when I do come here with the intention of writing, I become so damn lazy that I just give up.
It's one of the above.
That being said, I do like writing here.
It's actually a space where I can get stuff out there, and know I'm not going to get slammed for it.
That being said, I've started watching One Tree Hill.
Funny, I know :P
So yeah, to the multitudes of people out there reading this (there's going to be a max of like, 2, but who cares? :P) I've written something.
For once.
Either way... I just felt like writing tonight. It felt good.
I like writing.
It's fun.
I should write a story sometime...
Anyway, life is good.
Blah blah blah. I'm actually enjoying living in Frankston.
Minus two things.
One, the food sucks. I miss my dad's cooking so much.
Two, I miss the stars.
Back on my wonderful Island, the night sky was beautiful.
Amazing.
To be able to look up, and see the multitudes of lights up there, twinkling away.
I miss it.
Stupid light pollution. I had a look up the other day, and struggled to see any stars at all.
And yes, it was a clear night.
The night sky really is amazing....

The epic fight...
It was a Sunday night. I was sitting on my bed, talking to people on facebook, quietly minding my own business... when BAM!! It happened. A bee, flew down and attacked me. I was unprepared, but using my epic ninja skills, I managed to fight it off. It flew away, retreating to the light fitting on my roof.
Once it was there, I watched it, waiting on my bed with a pillow in my hand, ready to pounce if it attacked again. It came out, testing the waters to see if I would attack. However, it was too far away, and I couldn't reach it from where I was. I realised that I wasn't going to be able to retaliate from my position, so I had to do something. Looking around my room, I saw some nerf darts lying on the floor. I had an idea.
Grabbing my car keys, I made the epic dash out of my room, out of the house, down the stairs, to my car, where my trusty Nerf Gun lay. I grabbed it, then grabbed some darts, and returned to my room, where I scoped out the position of the bee. It had retreated back into the light fitting. So I took position, and waited for the bee to make it's fatal mistake.
I waited, crouched on the ground... after what seemed like hours, the bee finally came out of it's hiding spot. I opened fire, taking shot after shot until BANG! I hit it. It retreated back into it's light fitting, where it lay, motionless. I thought it was dead, so I calmed down, returning to my bed. However, I heard movement, and I looked up to see the bee move.
I tensed, grabbing my Nerf Gun and preparing for round two. However, it became motionless again. Time passed, and all of a sudden, it started going crazy. It was flying around the fitting, hitting everything, making heaps of noise. I waited, preparing for a retaliation on its part, until it stopped.
It lay in the fitting. Not moving. It looked like it was snapped in two. The bee, after intruding into my room, and attacking me, had been bested by my Nerf Gun, and my epic aim. It now rests in my light fitting, as a warning to all future bees of the dangers of attacking MickyJ in his own room.
The end.

You...
These days... you're all I seem to think about.
Every spare moment, every wandering thought.
It all comes back to thoughts of you.
It's weird. I've known you for ages.
We've been friends for a while.
But I actually got to know you better.
We spoke for ages.
And ages.
And now this has happened.
I like you. A lot.
Every chance I get, I speak to you.
I love speaking to you.
Just chatting. Either about nothing, or important stuff.
It's always enjoyable.
And I always have a smile on my face.
Because of this. Because of distance.
And because of just how awesome you are.
I've come to like you a lot.
I want to be able to tell you all this.
To see you again, as soon as I can.
And if something happens...
It'll be amazing.
I hope it does.
Probably more than anything in the world right now.
I just like you.
So much.
So very much...
Every spare moment, every wandering thought.
It all comes back to thoughts of you.
It's weird. I've known you for ages.
We've been friends for a while.

The Pink Fairy 2 - The Darkness Returns
Once, there was a little Fairy.
It was pink, with pretty little wings.
It also glowed, and it glowed a light blue.
This fairy, once upon a time, brought light into a dark world.
It made trees and flowers grow.
It brought colour into a black world.
And it made people happy.
However, there was another Fairy in this world.
It didn't like the colour.
It didn't like the flowers.
It didn't like the happy people.
This Fairy was small. But it was slightly bigger than the Pink Fairy.
It was a muscular fairy, and it wore a black vest.
It also glowed, but it glowed a deep red.
And it was always surrounded with a dark cloud.
And it was always surrounded with a dark cloud.
It was the Black Fairy
The Black Fairy didn't like the Pink Fairy.
In fact, it was the mortal enemy of the Pink Fairy.
It had worked hard to bring darkness to the world.
And the Pink Fairy destroyed his work.
He wanted revenge.
He approached the Pink Fairy one day.
He was angry. He was annoyed.
And he was big.
Like... BIG!
And it brought the darkness,
which the Pink Fairy worked so hard to destroy,
with it.
The Pink Fairy was a little bit scared.
The Pink Fairy was a little bit scared.
It was pink, and it glowed, and had pretty wings.
It didn't have muscles. It didn't wear a black vest.
It was scared of the Black Fairy.
But it knew that it had to stand up for itself.
But it knew that it had to stand up for itself.
The Black Fairy wanted to fight the Pink Fairy.
But the Pink Fairy wouldn't fight back.
Instead of fighting with it, the Pink Fairy did the strangest thing.
It asked the Black Fairy if it wanted to be friends.
The Black Fairy was confused.
It didn't know what to do.
No one had ever wanted to be its friend before.
So, instead of fighting... the Black Fairy ran away.
And the darkness disappeared with the Black Fairy...
The Pink Fairy
Once upon a time, there was a little fairy.
It was pink, and had pretty little wings.
It also glowed, and it glowed a bright blue.
This little fairy was the only bright thing in a dark, dark world.
There was little light.
No one was happy.
And all the trees had no leaves.
The bright pink fairy decided one day, to make everything happy and colourful again.
So, one by one, it went around to all the people in the world.
It showed them colour.
Showed them light.
And made them happy again.
Until, one by one, it had gone around to all the people in the world.
Doing this made the fairy very happy.
It also started to bring colour and light into the world again.
No longer was the fairy the only thing that glowed in the world.
Trees started growing leaves.
The sun started to shine.
And people started smiling.
Over time, the world became a happy place again.
There was colour everywhere.
There was always life, and light.
It was a wonderful place to live.
And it was all because the little fairy showed others kindness.
The end... or is it?

The injustice of disassociation...
So... you know all those floods and stuff up in Queensland and everywhere else right?
Chances are we're all deeply moved by what's happened, and our sympathies all lie with those affected people right now.
I'm one of those people.
But, despite this, you can never truly understand until it's happened to you.
Sure, I'm sorry that the floods have all happened to those around the country.
I wish I could help in some way, and yeah, you've all heard all that before.
But I maintain that no matter what, in just about any situation, unless it's happening right at your doorstep, you'll always disassociate yourself in some way or another.
I know there's poverty around the world.
I know that Australia has been hit hard by disasters.
I know that there's a large chance it's not going to go away for ages.
I know it's been happening for years.
However, I also know that because I live so far away from it, I'm under the impression I can't do a thing to stop it.
That's why disassociation sucks.
It's taken me staying at my friends house, and seeing their house and street get covered in water, for me to even somehow comprehend what those already affected have been going through.
All the fear,
the worry,
the loss,
the energy.
All that, and I haven't been able to even consider understanding it until it's happened in some way directly to me.
Sure, it's not my personal property that got damaged.
It's not my house.
But I helped clear a couple of houses of water, including the houses of people I've never even seen before in my life.
It just opens your eyes to be a part of it.
Which is why I believe disassociation sucks... because there are people out there, like me, who are capable of helping those in need, but won't until it happens to them.
And it's just not going to happen to a lot of people...

When you see something, and just think...
Sunsets...
Every time I sit and watch one, I always lie back, look, and think.
I swear that there is something very powerful about the sun descending into the horizon.
I don't know what it is.
Maybe it's because it signals the end of the day.
Maybe because it can be used to represent so much.
Maybe because they're just so beautiful.
I don't know. But what I do know, is that this one in particular was a great one.
This photo, it was taken after an awesome day with some great friends.
I was sitting on a small pier, right on the edge of the water.
And it just made me think about stuff.
Nothing really special, just about life, and how good it actually is.
Despite everything which I don't like about my life at the moment, it's actually very good.
Sure, I'm facing some challenges.
But isn't life full of them?
I'm just going to appreciate what I have, and hope that one day, the other stuff will come.
If I enjoy what I have, then life shall be that much better :)
Ah well, I just love sunsets.
Being able to sit back, appreciate the beauty, and just think.
It's just awesome.
And that's it for today.

When you find something you've previously written...
I can dance, and sing... I like to eat lollies, and jump around like an idiot. I enjoy playing guitar, and I am known for my banana milk drinking abilities. I love my friends, I think too much, and I'm that slight bit different. I want something which I can never seem to get. I read, I listen to music, I go to youth... and I live life. I am me, and like that I'm me. I hope that you do too

That awkward moment when...
Well, to be honest, this hasn't got anything to do with awkward moments at all.
I'm just posting something for the sake of it.
You see, I played beach volleyball today. It hurt my legs. A lot. But it was fun. Which is good.
Anyway, over the next few weeks, I have to organise where I'm going to live, where I'm going to study, how I'm going to pay for stuff, and yeah... all that.
I stop getting paid in like, a week.
I start uni soon.
I have no potential jobs at all.
And I'm going to struggle for moneys.
Awesome.
But yeah, something shall happen. I'll somehow be able to provide for myself.
Hopefully.
Either way.
I'm out of Banana Milk.
The end.

I've just noticed...
Honestly, just about everything I've written on this blog is depressing.
I shall now make it non-depressing :)
Starting with this post.
Sometime in the next few days, I'm probably going to end up writing a massive spiel about how awesome camp was, so look out for that... until then, YAYNESS :D
